Virgin Mary Ethiopian Orthodox Church provides consultation for events such as wedding (Mandatory Class Attendance), Christenings, family problems and other instances. The church provides religious class for couples before they are wed in the church.
Christening Service
Virgin Mary Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Cathedral Christening Service starts Sundays exactly at 06:00 A.M. Please contact the clergy and the office manager or board members ahead of time and make sure it is written on the master calendar. We would like to remind you to be on time so that your tardiness will not lead to the delay of the general worshiping service for the day.
Wedding Service
Virgin Mary Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Cathedral provides wedding services on Saturdays from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. The church will provide the religious/traditional service for the bride and groom. Membership to the church is encouraged. Memorial Service
Virgin Mary Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Cathedral provides memorial service for members and their families who depart from this world. The church also allows the family members to use the friendship hall a couple of days before the funeral and on the day of the funeral to receive their guests who come to pay their respect at which time the clergy share the word of God to comfort the family.
